Boys Volleyball stays undefeated

 Newington 3, East Hartford 1: The Indians received a tough test on Wednesday, but the now state tournament-bound squad dug deep and remained perfect on the season with a 3-1 win over East Hartford.

Newington squeaked by the first set with a 25-21 win before East Hartford tied the match with a win in the second set. The Indians then settled in and took the last two sets thanks to Leonel Caceres, who recorded 42 assists on the night.

Louis Egbuna led the team with 16 kills, while Teddy Fravell added 12. Jake Baclawski also joined the double-digit crew with 10 kills.
